Setting up the Joint Monitoring Committee (JMC)

The Programme's decision making body, the Joint Monitoring Committee (JMC) was also set up by inviting the main programme actors- line ministries and the representatives of the concerned regions of both participating countries. Having its first statutory meeting on 10th June 2008, the JMC adopted its Rules of Procedures among other documents.

The main task of the JMC is supervising and monitoring the programme implementation and it is the decision-making body related to the project selection under the respective Call for Proposals.

After June 2008, the JMC held four more meetings: 2 February 2009 in Kaposvár, 23 March 2009 in Budapest, 19 October 2009 in Osijek and 9 December 2009 in Varaždin.
