Kick-off Conference
First of those events, after launching the Call, was the Kick-off conference as the first communication milestone of the Programme. The conference was opened by Ms. Brigitta Zicherman-Mikulás, Head of the Managing Authority and Mr. János Benedek, CEO, Váti Nonprofit Kft., host institution of the Joint Technical Secretariat of the Programme.
Taking place on the 1st of April 2009 in Čakovec, seat of the Croatian bordering county of Međimurje, the Conference was the event that introduced the Programme to a larger audience. With hosted 350 participants it was an opportunity to present not only the Programme, but also currently launched Call for Proposals to potential project participants, stakeholders, representatives of local communities, decision-makers, and the general public as well.
The kick - off conference hosted as well the signature ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding for the Hungary- Croatia IPA Cross-border Cooperation Programme 2007- 2013.
