Info Days Tour
In order to get the information about the Programme through to as many potential applicants as possible, Information Days organized by the Joint Technical Secretariat of the Programme were held in each of the capitals of the seven eligible regions along the Hungarian-Croatian border.
This year the 'tour' started in the western-most part of the eligible programme area, and ended in the east, with the following cities covered: Čakovec, 16 June; Koprivnica, 17 June; Kaposvár, 23 June; Zalaegerszeg, 24 June; Osijek, 29 June; Pécs, 30 June and Virovitica, 1 July.
The Information Days were organized with the intention of informing the potential project partners, but also the wider public about the Programme and the possibility of applying for IPA funds that have been allocated to it. The intention was to both give a general overview of the Programme, but also to focus on the specific issues connected to the Second Call for Proposals.
The Info Days could generally be divided into two parts – the general information about the Programme and its characteristics in the 2007-2013 budgetary period with special focus on the Second Call for Proposals, and the more practically oriented presentation of the Application Form and its Annexes, with detailed instructions on the technicalities of filling them in. In this way the participants could get abundant information on the functioning of the Programme, all the relevant data relating to the currently open Call for Proposals and some very practical information to help them prepare their project proposals in the best possible manner.
Fully subscribing to the belief that communication is an essential part of any project, and by that of the Programme as a whole, and aiming at achieving high levels of transparency, the members of the Joint Technical Secretariat were giving the potential project partners all the relevant information regarding the Programme and the Call for Proposals, as well as detailed answers to any questions left unanswered after the presentations.
