Creating the JTS team
In line with the Programme rules the programme co-ordination and implementation tasks were delegated to the Joint Technical Secretariat (JTS) set up inside a separate unit within Váti Nonprofit Kft. in Budapest and with the citizens of both countries- Hungary and Croatia.
The beginning of 2008 saw establishing of the JTS, with the appointment of its Head in Budapest and with the recruitment of its first member working in Pécs. After its formation it grew up according to the Programme needs until the final programme implementing team was set up in June 2009 consisting of: Diána Rózsa, Head of JTS; János Rakonczai, financial manager;
Tvrtko Čelan, programme and communication manager and programme managers: Marian Zelei, Vedrana Knežević and András Tálos.
Besides the mentioned JTS members in Budapest, a senior programme manager has been working in the implementation of the Programme from the Programme eligible area:
Dr. Márton Szűcs in Pécs.
Mr. Péter Borbély, external aid procurement manager, working in Budapest, spends 50% of his working time supporting the team.
A special programme implementing structure was set up on the Croatian side of the programme area helping primarily the Croatian applicants- the Information Point in Osijek - run by Antonija Bedeniković, programme and communication officer.
