Closing Conference of Miller's Route Project

The implementation of the Miller's Route project, that focused on the development of a new cross-border thematic tourist route based on the shared heritage, will be finalised by the closing conference, to be held in Osijek, Croatia on 19 December 2014.
ART CBC - Film Festival in Slatina 8-11 December

The ART CBC Project will be hosting a four-day film festival in the renovated cinema in Slatina and several other locations starting from 8 December 2014, with special workshops and screenings organised for school children.
Final Conference of Aljmaški Rit and Drávakeresztúri

Drava4Enjoy - Opening of Renovated Castle

Drava4Enjoy (HUHR/1101/1.2.2/1014) with the EU contribution of 1 798 575,00 € is the largest HUHR IPA CBC tourism project and the fourth largest Hungarian- Croatian project with its subsidy in the whole 2007-2013 period.

Two years ago European cross-border co-operation programmes in co-ordination with Interact and with the support of the European Commission decided to dedicate a special day to celebrate the numerous and manifold ways EU Member States co-operate with one another, as well as with their non-EU neighbours.
The Hungary-Croatia Cross-border Co-operation Programme has also joined in the European Co-operation Day (ECD) campaign again under the motto “Sharing borders, growing closer”, following the success of the first two editions.
European Cooperation Day 2014 and Hungary- Croatia events

Under the motto “Sharing borders, growing closer”, hundreds of local events have been held across Europe in the week leading up to 21 September, reaching out to thousands of people.
Tasks of VÁTI taken over by SzPO

Based on Government Decree 161/2014 of 30 June 2014 and Government Decision 1362/2014, from 1 July 2014 the tasks of VÁTI Non-profit Ltd (VÁTI) are taken over by Széchenyi Programme Office Non-profit Ltd (SZPO).
Subsidy Contract between Managing Authority of the IPA CBC Hungary-Croatia and Town of Križevci for the project ''On the bike from Balaton to Adriatic'' has been signed in Križevci on 30th June 2014, preceded by press conference.
The 2014 Annual EC Meeting with the Managing Authorities of the European territorial cooperation prorammes highlighted the specific challenges and achievements of cross-border cooperation. The meeting also reviewed the implementation of the current territorial cooperation programmes, and addressed the future programming process for 2014-2020 ec.europa.eu/regional_policy/conferences/etc2014/index_en.cfm.
Public consultations with the major stakeholders for the future Hungary-Croatia Cross-border Co-operation Programme 2014-2020 were held today on the premises of the municipality of Sopje in Virovitičko-podravska County, Croatia. The venue of the meeting was partly reconstructed through the HUHR IPA CBC Second Call project Drava Events in years 2011 and 2012.
The status of the programming process and the draft OP was presented by the Programming Expert Team (Vital Pro, HBH Euroconsultig and Razbor) and the experts responsible for the ex-ante evaluation of the draft OP (Ex-ante-ICG) at the public consultations with more than 30 participants

European Co-operation Day 2014

The Hungary-Croatia Cross-border Co-operation Programme is joining the celebration of European Co-operation Day third year in a row by supporting the projects in the organisation of events in the week of 21 September. The first dates have already been announced and are featured in the Events section of the website.
Public consultation with major stakeholders for the future Hungary-Croatia Cross-border Co-operation Programme 2014-2020 will be held as follows:

The draft OP has been available here and it can serve as preparation material for the public consultation session.
As part of the on-going evaluation of the Hungary-Croatia IPA Cross-border Cooperation Programme 2007-2013, a questionnaire survey was conducted in March 2014 in order to assess the visibility of the Programme in the border region.
Five years have passed since the Kick- off Conference of the Hungary-Croatia IPA Cross-border Co-operation Programme took place. After the approval of the Programme by the EC in March 2008, it was the most important milestone of the Hungary-Croatia IPA CBC Programme, happening just at the launching time of the First Call for Proposals. On the 1st of April 2009 in Čakovec, Croatia- at the occasion of the Conference, the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on the level of Croatian and Hungarian state secretaries has been signed as well.
